Solar Project Intern

  • Conducted user research with Sales and Installation teams to create intuitive, detailed forms that capture pertinent information from site visits; presented finished product to CEO and CMO.

  • Researched vehicle tracking technologies to increase accuracy of future job costing through improved management of Solaflect's commercial vehicle fleet.

  • Integrated ProntoForms with Salesforce using SOQL to streamline collection of client information.

  • Created and analyzed a map of broken solar trackers to optimize repair schedule and route. Resulting repair time was 50% less than original estimate, and saved hundreds of dollars in fuel and labor costs.

  • Assessed how LiDAR can be used to calculate Leaf Area Index of forest plots.

  • Assisted with the monthly collection of leaf litter from 60 plots throughout the Hubbard Brook National Forest to extract and examine the soil invertebrate communities using Berlese funnels.

  • Coordinated several major house improvement projects, including moving hundreds of storage boxes out of the house to make living spaces usable again post-Covid; install new kitchen cabinetry; scrub years of beer off the basement benches and seal them with water-resistant wood stain; set up a house printer.

  • Serve as the point person between house residents, Dartmouth administration, and third-party service workers when repairs and upgrades are needed to ensure the house stays in excellent condition.

  • Coordinate semi-weekly cleans and termly "house days," and delegate house improvement tasks to the 100+ member chapter.

  • Administered clear and effective training to new snowboard instructors, 100% of whom passed the AASI exam to become nationally certified instructors.
